Michele Einig MS Psych, RYT 200
Mental Health Expert and Yogi
Michele’s yoga journey began over 25 years ago when she stepped onto the mat for a beginner Kripalu yoga class at a local community center—and immediately fell in love with the practice. What started as a way to move and unwind has since evolved into a lifelong path of self-discovery and healing.
Michele earned her RYT-200 from Just Plain Yoga and holds a master’s degree in psychology, blending the science of the mind with the wisdom of yoga to support healing, growth, and transformation. Her classes emphasize mindfulness, breath awareness, and nervous system regulation, creating supportive spaces for students to reconnect with themselves—physically, mentally, and spiritually—while cultivating inner peace both on and off the mat.
In addition to her JPY classes, Michele teaches yoga for a Youthful Offenders Program, offering trauma-informed practices that foster self-awareness, emotional resilience, and personal empowerment. Her teaching is accessible and inclusive, welcoming students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or seeking to deepen your practice, Michele offers a grounded and compassionate presence to guide your journey.
When not on the mat, Michele enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, baking, running, and embracing all things outdoors.
