Our Mission

To make yoga accessible, practical, and supportive for real people living real lives.

At Just Plain Yoga, our mission is to offer inclusive yoga and wellness experiences that support mobility, stress relief, healthy aging, and personal growth — without pressure, perfection, or pretense.

We believe yoga should meet you where you are and grow with you over time.

Our Vision

A community where yoga feels welcoming, sustainable, and relevant at every stage of life.

We envision a future where yoga is not about performance or trends, but about longevity, self-awareness, and well-being — in studios, workplaces, and everyday life.

Just Plain Yoga exists to normalize yoga as a lifelong practice that supports physical health, mental clarity, and meaningful connection.

 💛 Our Values

Accessibility
Yoga should be adaptable, welcoming, and available to all bodies, ages, and abilities.

Integrity
We teach with honesty, experience, and respect for the roots of yoga — without dogma or ego.

Community
We value connection, kindness, and showing up for one another on and off the mat.

Lifelong Learning
Yoga is not something you “finish.” We encourage curiosity, growth, and continued education.

Humor & Humanity
We take the practice seriously but not ourselves. Laughter and humility are part of the work.

Owner & Founder, Just Plain Yoga (est. 2003)

Just Plain Yoga was founded in 2003 by Tina Stroh, a longtime yoga educator, wellness professional, and community builder with over three decades of experience in the field.

Tina created Just Plain Yoga as an antidote to intimidating, trend-driven yoga spaces. Her approach is grounded, thoughtful, and practical — blending traditional yoga principles with modern understanding of stress, mobility, and nervous system health.

With a background in theater, education, and wellness, Tina brings clarity, humor, and humanity into everything she teaches and builds. She is deeply committed to making yoga feel accessible and relevant for people who may not see themselves reflected in mainstream yoga culture.

Under her leadership, Just Plain Yoga has grown into a trusted studio offering in-studio, livestream, on-demand, corporate wellness, private sessions, and teacher training — all rooted in the belief that yoga should support real life, not compete with it.
