Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is a trauma-informed, nervous-system-sensitive program that blends ancient wisdom with modern science, designed for both dedicated students and professionals seeking certification.

Program Overview

Our program is built around six modules that weave together the physical, philosophical, and personal growth aspects of yoga

Program Structure for 2027

Training weekends run January through May 2027, blending classroom learning, practice teaching, self-study, and mentorship.

  • January 16th - 1-3pm only - Orientation Weekend

  • January 22–24

  • February 19–21

  • March 19–21

  • April 16–18

  • May 14-16

  • May 21-23

Fridays: 5:30–8:30 PM
Saturdays: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Sundays: 8:30 AM–4:00 PM (30 minute lunch)

Core Modules:

  1. Foundations of Yoga Philosophy & Practice
    Styles, lineages, nervous system basics, breath & movement grounding practices.

  2. Asana & Pranayama
    Posture technique, cueing, props, modifications, nervous system considerations, breathwork, and mudras.

  3. Functional Anatomy & Subtle Body
    Anatomy for yoga teachers, vagus nerve, skeletal variability, chakras, koshas, nadis.

  4. Yoga Philosophy & Meditation
    Sutras, Gita, yamas & niyamas, mindfulness, Ayurveda basics, ethics, self-care.

  5. The Art of Teaching & Adaptation
    Sequencing, authentic voice, trauma & nervous system aware methodology, and introduction to restorative, yin, chair, and kids yoga.

  6. Integration & Empowerment
    Practicum teaching, journaling & reflection, business of yoga, mentorship, planning your unique path forward.

Certification

Upon successful completion, you’ll be eligible to register as a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance.

Tuition & Payment Options

We offer several ways to make your training affordable:

  • Super Early Bird (first 3 sign-ups): $2,995 ($500 deposit)

  • Early Bird (paid by Dec 1): $3250

  • Standard Tuition (paid in full by Jan 5th): $3,500

  • Installment Plan: $3,750 ($500 deposit + 8 monthly payments)

  • Immersion Option (non-certification): $2250 paid in full, or $2,600 installment plan

  • Refresher (for already certified 200-hr teachers): $1099

Deposits are non-refundable. If you have special financial circumstances they will be considered individually.

Tina Stroh, BA, E-RYT® 500
Founder and director of Just Plain Yoga. With more than 30 years of yoga experience, Tina has traveled in India, Nepal, and studied with internationally respected teachers in the US. She brings a grounded, accessible, and culturally sensitive approach to yoga—rooted in tradition, shaped by real-life experience, and infused with humor and heart.

Ann Fields, BFA, RYT-500, RCYT, SEL*F Facilitator
Founder of Peaceful Poses Kids Yoga. Ann specializes in yoga for children, trauma-informed practices, mindfulness, and meditation. She teaches yoga and Pilates at HACC and has led programs across schools, childcare centers, and conferences. Her expertise in both adult and children’s yoga brings unique depth and inclusivity to the training.
