Katy began her journey with meditation in 2001. After the birth of her first child, a beautiful girl born with Down Syndrome, she found herself full of anxiety and worry about the future & suffered through a period of depression. But after many years of study, and through dedication to her daily practice, she now enjoys abundant gratitude, an open heart, and balance in body, mind & spirit.

In 2021 she decided to share her knowledge of meditation and completed formal teacher training with UNPLUG Meditation and also became a professionally certified Sound Therapy Practitioner with the International Sound Healing Academy. In 2023 she graduated from the davidji Meditation Academy with a certification in the Masters of Wisdom & Meditation Teacher Training course.

Katy looks forward to connecting with you and sharing the wonderful benefits of both meditation and sound therapy! Her classes include themes of gratitude, lovingkindness, & acceptance. She enjoys exploring the energy body and chakra systems, and firmly believes when we welcome stillness and take time to turn inward, we can become the Peace we are seeking in every moment.

Katy offers group classes as well as 1-1 private meditation and sound sessions.
