Just Plain Yoga

Real People. Real Yoga. Since 2003

Come as you are — we’ll meet you there.

Welcome to Just Plain Yoga — a non-intimidating, down-to-earth place to learn, breathe, and feel better.

Since 2003, we’ve been Central PA’s home for authentic yoga and real community. No nonsense — just wellness, wisdom, and a place to move, reconnect, and belong.

Real yoga. Real people. Since 2003.
Come as you are — we’ll meet you there.

Meet Our Founder – Tina Stroh, BA, E-RYT® 500

I’m the founder and director of Just Plain Yoga, a community-focused studio based in Camp Hill, PA since 2003. With over 30 years of experience as a student and teacher of yoga, I bring a grounded, accessible, and authentic approach to wellness — rooted in tradition, but shaped by real-life experience.

My journey has taken me from exploring yoga culture during my travels in India and Nepal to teaching my very first yoga class at a nudist colony (yes, really). Along the way, I’ve prepared and eaten Thanksgiving dinner in the rainforest of Madagascar, shaken hands with the Dalai Lama, and danced with Patch Adams — experiences that shape how I teach and connect with others every day.

I hold a B.A. in International Studies and Theatre and have worked as both a theatre instructor and a television producer — experiences that taught me the power of storytelling, presence, and adapting under pressure. I’ve also studied Sanskrit and yogic philosophy, and completed numerous advanced trainings in yoga, mindfulness, and holistic wellness.

As a lifelong learner, educator, and mother, my mission is to demystify yoga while honoring its deep roots — offering people of all backgrounds a space to move, breathe, and reconnect to themselves.

Through Just Plain Yoga, I’ve had the privilege of guiding thousands of students and building a warm, inclusive community where people don’t need to “look” or “be” a certain way to practice yoga. I’m currently expanding our offerings to include professional teacher training and mentorship for those who feel called to share the practice with integrity, compassion, and heart.
