We know that trying a yoga class for the first time might be a bit intimidating, but don't worry. At Just Plain Yoga, we're dedicated to making your yoga experience easy and enjoyable. Our Intro Offers allow you to try out different classes and discover the one that suits you best. We're here to guide you through the entire process.   • New to yoga? Welcome! Look for classes labeled 'gentle,' 'easy,' or 'basic'—ideal for beginners. Always check the class descriptions before class. Progress at your own pace, honor your body, and enjoy the journey.

    For those with injuries or specific health concerns, explore our Private Yoga options—a 30-minute assessment or tailored 30-60 minute one-on-one lessons.

    Exciting news: We host occasional 4 or 6-week beginner yoga series, offering structured guidance for newcomers. Join us to build confidence in your practice! 🌟

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. Many prefer leggings or shorts with a breathable top. We typically practice in bare feet so be prepared to leave shoes in the lobby. We also request you avoid strong scents because some people may be sensitive.

  • Yoga welcomes all levels, irrespective of flexibility. Our mission is to make yoga's benefits accessible to everyone, emphasizing self-study and growth. Flexibility isn't crucial; it naturally improves with practice. Join us in our inclusive and friendly space to experience the transformative power of yoga—no matter where you are on your journey.

  • We encourage booking in advance to secure your spot, as classes fill up fast. Simply click 'Login' on our Schedule Page to create your profile. If you need assistance, call us at 717-975-9642. Don't miss out on your preferred class!

  • Online classes provide flexibility and accessibility. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and enough space for your practice. You should also have a basic Zoom account.

    Most classes list what props you need. If you don’t have them you can ask the instructor for ideas for substitutions.

    You will get an email about 30 minutes before class with the link that you may click to join class. If you can’t join live, you will get a second email after class with the link to the recording. If you don’t get the email please check your spam folder or call us.

  • If you've practiced with us before, there's a chance your information is still in our system. For the most efficient experience, we recommend heading to our Schedule Page to manage your account and book your classes seamlessly. Look for a Log in button on the right side.Try using your email as your login and select "forgot password." If you don't receive an email to reset your password, it might be best to set up a new account.

  • Yes! Our front desk staff will help you with that. $2 a mat.

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts to settle in, set up your mat, and center yourself.

  • Prenatal yoga classes are designed for expectant mothers. Inform the instructor, and they can guide you on suitable poses.

    We offer Prenatal Yoga series and you are welcome to pay for a one time drop-in or we will prorate the session if you give us a call 717-975-9642 or email us at info@justplainyoga.com

  • The frequency depends on personal goals and schedules. Starting with 2-3 times a week is common.

  • Our diverse classes cater to all levels, and our non-judgmental instructors are here to guide you. If you prefer, call us for a private lesson, offering personalized, one-on-one instruction, akin to personal training.

  • Be mindful of personal space, avoid strong scents, and silence phones. Follow the specific teacher and studio's guidelines for a harmonious experience.
