jpy is a multi-style yoga space with 2 full studios dedicated to bringing the best in yoga to central pennsylvania since 2003: vinyasa/ashtanga yoga, yoga for beginners, hatha yoga, iyengar yoga, classical yoga, boomer yoga, fusion, just plain meditation, kundalini yoga, hatha yoga flow, workshops, special events, and more to come...
introduction to yoga
curious about yoga? what is it? there are so many different styles to choose from - how can you know which one is for you? is yoga just about getting bendy or is there something more? why is it different than gymnastics or pilates? what does yoga do? where does yoga come from and how has it become what it is today? if you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a time and want to get a broader understanding of the practice, this once a month class will be a great help. find the yoga that you will enjoy and get inspired to do the practice! please check the schedule for dates and times and the class description for more information.
FREE COMMUNITY YOGA CLASS:
free yoga class on sundays at 11:00 am (all levels, 60 minutes) different teacher each week. donations are accepted and are applied to JPY's scholarship fund.

emma terndrup joins us at JPY teaching the wednesday morning hatha flow class beginning the wednesday after labor day!
amanda lease comes to JPY on mondays after labor day with a morning hatha flow class, yoga for beginners specialty classes and a new hatha 1-2 class in the evening.
there are updated descriptions for the just plain meditation classes and a special offer for all former just plain meditation students regarding the new experience of meditation class. please check the class descriptions and workshops pages!

shani stevenson is no longer teaching at JPY. we thank shani for all she has done for us here at the studio. all of her classes, workshops and yoga trance dance are cancelled.
amanda lease will be teaching a hatha flow class on mondays at 9:15 starting the week after labor day. she will also be teaching the yoga for beginners sessions and a new ongoing hatha 1-2 class on monday evenings!

pilates has now become fusion. the wednesday morning class (same time) has evolved as angi's teaching evolves and now contains elements of styles outside of the pilates form. give it a try!
